MEETING WITH DoT/ BSNL OFFICERS Service With A Smile (SWAS) on 10.08.2016: In order to boost the SWAS programme, BSNL Corporate Office organized an Oath taking Ceremony on today 10.08.2016 at 10.15 Hrs in which CMD BSNL administered the oath to all the employees. After a brief speech, CMD BSNL green signalled a rally of BSNL employees from Bharat Sanchar Bhawan. The rally took a route HCM Lane, Atul Grove Road, Talastoy Marg and Janpth and reached back to Bharat Sanchar Bhawan. The rally stretch was about half kilometre long. Our GS along with all other CHQ Office Bearers and AIBSNLEA members stationed at New Delhi took part in the oath taking ceremony as well as in the rally. Such type of programs are being organised throughout the country at all SSA and Circle HQs Meeting with Director (HR), BSNL Board regarding implementation SWAS program on 10.08.2016 GS, FS met Director (HR) BSNL Board and discussed regarding observing the SWAS program with the name “SAMPARK” (SAMay PAR Kam). Director (HR) mentioned that this program is being organized throughout the country at BSNL CO / Circle HQ / SSA HQ on 10.08.2016. The purpose of this program is to strengthen tie with customer and to intensify the SWAS program in BSNL. This program will start with an oath to be administered by CMD BSNL at 10.15 am in front of BSNL Corporate Office. Similarly, the oath will be administered throughout the country by CGMs / SSA Heads. Thereafter a procession of all employees will start displaying all BSNL brands / tariffs to attract the customers. She appreciated the initiative taken by the BSNL Unions / Associations and requested to make it a grand success. We assured our fullest co-operation. All the members of AIBSNLEA are requested to actively participate in above "SAMPARK" program being organized at their headquarters. Meeting with GM (Pers) on 08.08.2016: GS met GM (Pers.) BSNL Corporate Office, New Delhi and discussed regarding: A. Settlement of Pay fixation and Pension of BSNL employee’s w.r.t DOT No.61-7/2015-SU dated 5th Feb 2016: We requested to get an early clarification from DoT in this regard. GM (Pers.) informed that tomorrow I shall be meeting with the concerned officers in DoT for giving an early reply in this regard. B. Clearance from DoT on restructuring of AD (OL) Cadre: We requested to pursue the matter in DoT for early clearance on restructuring of AD (OL) Cadre. GM (Pers.) assured to look into the matter. C. Consideration of Tenure / Request transfers of SDEs / DEs: We requested to consider tenure / request transfers of SDEs / DEs who are completing their tenure in September 2016. We also apprised that more than 20 lady officers from Kerala, AP and Maharashtra Circle are waiting for their transfers in addition to about 50 other officers. GM (Pers.) assured to look into the matter. D. Implementation of CPSU Cadre Hierarchy: GM (Pers.) informed that a presentation has been prepared to present the case before the competent authority within this week. Thereafter it will be circulated to the Executive Associations for their comments. Presentation to 3rd PRC on 08.08.2016: GS, FS, AGS (HQ) and AGS (Fin.) along with GS, VP and OS (HQ) of AIGETOA and GS, AGSs of TEAM (MTNL) attended a meeting with the Chairman of 3rd PRC Hon'ble Justice Shri Satish Chandra, Member Secretary Shri Madhukar Gupta (Addl Secretary, DPE) and Member (PRC) Shri Shailendra Pal Singh, Ex-Director (HR), NTPC Ltd. wherein GS presented the views of the United Forum of AIBSNLEA and AIGETOA as per the questionnaire. Hon'ble Chairman and Members of 3rd PRC gave a patient observation and hearing to the presentation on all the items of questionnaire and discussed most of the items in details. After detailed discussions mainly on affordability, similar standard pay scales in all PSU except perks and allowance which may be decided by the concerned PSUs, IDA Pension revision to BSNL Pensioners and superannuation benefits to the PSU employees etc Hon'ble Chairman and Members of 3rd PRC asked us to give a brief enumerating the points of aspirations of the BSNL Executives.
