02/02/2016 :SPL GB MEETING at MYSURU : The special general body meeting of AIBSNLEA Mysore District unit branch was held at RTTC Mysore on 2nd February 2016. It was well organized with a mammoth gathering & maximum members have attended. The proceedings commenced at 18.00 hrs with the welcome speech by Com B.S.Manjunath Dist. Secretary. He welcomed Com. P.Venugopal CHQ President, beloved General Secretary Com. Prahlad Rai, Com H Y Andeli Circle Secretary, Com. S.K.Hiremath ACS-I, Com H.Krishnegowda ACS-II, Com R.A.Manjunatha, Area Secretary-III, Com Ravindranath, District President to the dias and Com Ravindranath District President has presided over the meeting. He also welcomed Com A.V.Srikantan Principal RTTC and all the members and retired senior officers. After welcome speech, One minute silence was observed for the departed soul of veteran leader Com. W.Sheshagiri Rao & other comrades who left us. As a tradition followed by Mysore district unit, all the retired 4 senior comrades of AIBSNLEA have been invited as chief guests to the meeting and 3 comrades viz., Com. V.S.Kulkarni, Com. B.S.Raveendra & Com. Krishnashetty who are present were felicitated by CHQ President, General Secretary, ACS-I & ACS-II, AS-III, Dist President and other office bearers. Com B.S.Manjunath District Secretary has put forth the report and announced that 2 comrades have joined AIBSNLEA. General Secretary welcomed those 2 comrades by offering bouquet. Com H Krishnegowda ACS-II in his speech welcomed all the CHQ leaders and Circle leaders by offering bouqet and appealed to all the comrades of Mysuru and Karnataka Circle for their whole hearted physical and financial support for conducting the forth coming All India Conference in Mysuru in a grand manner and thanked CHQ leaders for having their trust on comrades of Mysuru to host AIC. Com. S K Hiremath ACS-I also appealed all the members for financial support to conduct AIC and about membership verification in his speech. Our beloved Circle Secretary Com H.Y.Andeli has presented a report and requested GS to take up the issue with corporate office to consider all the request transfers in the cadre of AGMs/DEs in a transparent manner without any discrimination by giving justice to Karnataka Circle. Also, appealed all to support for AIC. Com P.Venugopal CHQ President addressed the gathering and spoke about viability of BSNL, our effort to make company profitable and conducting AIC at Mysuru. He assured maximum support from CHQ to conduct AIC. Our beloved dynamic General Secretary Com.Prahlad Rai addressed the mammoth gathering and explained in detail the latest developments and reasons for delay for issuance of promotion orders in case of JTO to SDET, SDE to DE, DE to DGM, JAO to AO, AO to CAO and other issues, spoke about SWAS program and advised all comrades to work efficiently to make BSNL profitable, settling of pay anamoly cases, pay scale of ADOL. Also, he spoke about conducting the next AIC in Mysuru during second week of June this year and appealed one and all to support AIC. Com. R.A.Manjunatha AS-III has taken initiative & well organized the meeting in a grand manner. GS requested PGM, BGTD to en cash huge potential of Bengaluru City in FTTH, BB, Mobiles etc. 03/02/2016 :SPL GB MEETING at BENGALURU : Well-arranged and mammoth gathered Spl GB meeting started with invocation song. Com Ullhas Gurav CAO presided over the meeting and conducted the proceedings. As a mark of respect to the departed soul of Com W Sheshagiri Rao Ex. GS,JETA CHQ, a two minute silence was observed. Com S K Hiremath ACS(HQ) spoken on organization matter, He explained about field units facing problems in maintaining OFC cables, shortage of low count cables etc. He appealed to all the members for liberal contribution for holding 5th AIC at Mysuru. Com H Y Andeli, CS, KTK spoke on the issues of Karnataka circle pending in BSNL CO, delegation of powers to PGM,QA Bengaluru, retention of QA Accounts section in Bengaluru, Filling up of all the vacant posts in SDEs, DETs, DGMs without equalizing vacant posts of other Circles, delegation of powers to DGMs in SSA level, reliving of DETs from WB,CTD,ETP,BR,CTD etc to KTK through ERP, consideration of request transfers of AGMs QE 31/12/2016 to KTK, He thanked for settling lot of pending issues of Karnataka Circle,He told that there is no day without meeting and discussing the issues of executives with Sr. Officers in corporate officers by our beloved and dynamic GS.
