He appreciated the Whatapp group activities and messaging method of Maharashtra Circle. Requested all to participated in the ensuing AIC during middle of June 2016 at Mysore. He mentioned that AIBSNLEA Maharashtra is the number One association and will remain No.1. As regards financial viability, he requested everyone to work hard. A positive approach from BSNL side is sufficient to retain / attract the customers. Many flood like situations are handled only by BSNL and the public is very well aware of it. DISTRICT CONFERENCE OF JODHPUR BRANCH, RAJASTHAN CIRCLE ON 05.03.2016: GS attended and addressed the District Conference of Jodhpur Branch, Rajasthan Circle on 5th March, 2016 at Hotel Pavitras, Jodhpur in a nice manner. Sh. Prahlad Rai, General Secy. in his address memorized that he had been given Circle Secretary, Raj. Circle responsibility in Jodhpur first time. He informed that CMD has very much attachment with Jodhpur so he is watching closely the day to day progress of Jodhpur SSA. He said that initially the performance of Jodhpur was not good but now it is very responsive. He mentioned that working system in Rajasthan Circle has been changed as the attitude of executives / non-executives is changing drastically. He said that Rajasthan circle can become a performing circle and elaborated the financial health of BSNL in detailed with data. He informed that 3rd PRC is pending with PMO for approval of its constitution and appealed to increase the performance and make BSNL profitmaking so that we can get next PRC. Sh.R.K. Chouhan, Sr.GMTD Jodhpur in his address elaborated that how the changes in work culture taken place in Jodhpur. He said that we should be loyal to the wage paid by BSNL and informed that crisis of materials in Rajasthan is now over, which is the main reason of the growth. He motivated the staff that they should think about their contribution w.r.t. the wages paid by company to them. Election of new office bearers were also held on the occasion of Branch conference. Com. O.P. Chouhan, DGM(F); Com. Anil K. Tiwari, AGM and Com. O.P. Chitara AO were elected unanimously as Branch President, Branch Secretary and Branch Financial Secretary respectively. FORUM NEWS Meeting of United Forum of AIBSNLEA and AIGETOA meeting with Director (HR) on 08.03.2016: United Forum of AIBSNLEA and AIGETOA meeting with Director (HR) could not be held today due to some unavoidable circumstances and now postponed to 10th March 2016 at 16.00 Hrs to discuss some pressing HR issues. Core Committee of Forum of BSNL Unions / Associations Meeting with CMD BSNL on 08.03.2016: CMD BSNL convened a meeting with the members of Core Committee of Forum of BSNL Unions / Associations wherein GS attended the meeting as a member Core Committee and discussed regarding viability of BSNL wherein CMD explained that BSNL's performance has increased during the current financial year. Last month two million GSM mobile connections has been added and this month it will increase to 2.5 million connections. Now BSNL has come at number 2 amongst the TSPs as far as the growth is concerned. Similarly, BSNL's number 5th position should also improve this year. He emphasized that everybody should make sincere efforts to increase BSNL's top line during the remaining three weeks' time up to 31st March 2016 so this year itself BSNL becomes profit making.
