Subsequent to the implementation of benefit of merger of 50% IDA effectively amounting to 78.2% as on 1.1.2007 for the purpose of fitment and pay fixation in the revised pay scales w.e.f. 10.6.2013, further instructions were issued by this office vide letters No. 1-50/2008-PAT(BSNL) dated 13.6.2013 and No. 1- 16/2010-PAT(BSNL) dated 13.6.2013 wherein, it has been intimated that all allowances like Medical reimbursement with voucher for outdoor treatment, Professional/Skill Upgradation Allowance, House Rent Allowance, etc. shall continue to be paid at IDA Basic Pay with 68.8% fitment till further orders. Now, it has been decided with the approval of competent authority that the Professional Upgradation Allowance in respect of Executives and Skill Upgradation Allowance in respect of Non-executives shall be paid at IDA Basic Pay with 78.2% fitment w.e.f. 1.4.2016. It is again reiterated that pre appointment training period before appointment would be counted as qualifying service in the scale of Rs 13600-25420 for the purpose of eligibility for appearing in the LICE.
